"Desert Flower Bat" wood-cut wall art 12"x12.5"x0.75"
This is a three paice wood cut out of a bat based on the real life nocturnal desert flower bat (check out her lil tongue she licks the pollen with its so cuute!) This bat is brown in real life but Al wanted it to be pink so it is. The base square is a shallow half inch 9’x9’ woodedn square with about a quarter inch inlay so too shallow to call a shadow box. With the flower and her wing going out of the base square sh is aprox 13” wide. and about .075” deep as the cuts are a quarter inch as well. She is hand painted and sealed with an oil based pecan varnish.
